Dr. Charles Moore is a retired Medical doctor and certified plastic surgeon who served the Tallahassee community for more than 35 years. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he completed his general surgery training at Dartmouth Affiliated Hospitals and his plastic surgery residency at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville.
Following the closure of his surgical practice in 2008, Dr. Moore devoted his career to humanitarian medical missions, providing cleft palate and reconstructive surgeries for children in Ukraine, as well as contributing to medical publishing and community wellness initiatives. He has served as an editor for multiple medical publications and is the author of a historical photography book featuring his father’s World War I collection.
Today, Dr. Moore continues to support patient health and wellness through weight management counseling and educational outreach in the Tallahassee community. He is the current medical director of Body Biology Tallahassee.
